Butterfly Bungalow
This middle cottage had been neglected for years, but I could see the potential hidden beneath its worn exterior. By raising the roofline, exposing the original beams, and opening up the layout, we completely transformed it into a space that feels both expansive and inviting.
The vision was to create a luxurious retreat that felt refined without losing its connection to the Catskills. Inspired by the region's natural beauty, butterflies became a subtle thread woven throughout the design—from the delicate cabinet knobs to thoughtful decorative details that create moments of discovery.
Every square foot was carefully considered. A fully stocked kitchenette, plush velvet curtains, a sleek electric fireplace, and a crisp, modern bathroom bring both comfort and sophistication to the space. A cozy lounge area and dining table ensure guests have room to relax, work, or enjoy a quiet meal.
This cottage proves that luxury isn't about square footage—it's about thoughtful design. Every inch was intentionally planned to create an elevated escape that feels warm, memorable, and unmistakably Catskills.
