This adorable cottage needed a “glow up” that would maintain the rustic charm of the area it is located in, but appeal to city weekenders. By blowing out the living room ceiling and creating a sleeping loft, we were able to maximize the space and create additional square footage and architectural interest while still maintaining the cozy charming feeling of a cottage. Now it is the perfect weekend escape year-round.
